The
Surgery, Ashley Lane, Hordle
In June 1995 the Practice opened a branch surgery
at 24 Ashley Lane, Hordle (next to the chemist shop). The surgery
has been very popular with local residents and has improved the
community's access to medical care.
The Branch Surgery works in the following way:
- Only patients with an appointment will be
seen
- Appointments are made only though the
Health Centre (01425) 621188
- Hordle surgery has NO emergency
facilities, so ALL emergencies will still only be seen at the
Health Centre
- Patients arriving without an appointment
will always be redirected to the Health Centre
- Repeat prescriptions can only be
collected at the Health Centre
- Most treatment room facilities,
especially blood tests, only take place at the Health Centre
- Doctors will attend by rota. It may not
be possible to see the doctor of your choice as quickly at
Hordle as it would be in the Health Centre
- All letters should be sent to the Health
Centre
- All repeat prescription requests should
be handed in or sent to the the Health Centre not to the
Branch Surgery.
HOW TO FIND US
From the traffic lights in the centre of New
Milton (Station Road), take the Ashley Road which is signposted to
Hordle. Follow this for a mile and a half, crossing straight over
the Ashley Crossroad traffic lights. Continue along this road up the
hill into Hordle. The surgery can be found next to and behind the
chemist shop on your left. Public parking is available by the
recreation ground - continue past the shops to the roundabout and
turn left in Vaggs Lane and left again at the sign for the car park.
