Stay alert to Coronavirus symptoms. Stay at home and get tested if you have any symptoms (even if mild).

You can ask for a  test online if you have a high temperature, new continuous cough, loss or change to your sense of smell or taste. Most people with corona virus have at least one of these symptoms. You need to get the test done in the first 5 days of having symptoms. Do not wait. Ask for the test as soon as you have symptoms.

Staying safe and well: Face Coverings

We are working hard to make sure that our sites are safe for you to attend if you need to.

You can be sure that during any appointments, our clinical staff will wear PPE (a face mask, apron, gloves and often a visor) to keep you safe and to ensure that we can stay healthy and able to look after you.

Please wear a face covering if you are visiting the surgery. We know that wearing a face covering can help protect those around us.

Lots of us have learned how to make these masks recently, there are lots of easy instructions and tutorials on the internet, and we will share some photos of our creations.

These links contain advice on how to make a washable, reusable face covering for yourself, some are really simple and easy and don’t need any sewing at all. Others are a little more complicated and perfect for those crafty people amongst us. They can be made from old shirts, pillowcases, old t-shirts- all sorts of things you may have at home.

So please, have a go! Make something simple, or a little more complicated, make it suit your personality, and if you are able, maybe make one for a friend or relative so we can all help to protect each other.
