Named GP

Accountable / Named GP for All Patients

All patients have been allocated a named GP who is responsible for the care that our surgery provides. They will also work with other relevant health and care professionals, who are involved in your care, to ensure that your care package, if required, meets your individual needs.

Patients will be informed of their named/ accountable GP at the first appropriate interaction with the practice. If you wish to know who your named GP is please contact the practice or ask at Reception when you are next visiting us. If you are a new patient you will be infomed of your named/usual GP through the registration process.

If you would like to change your named GP please email us at or phone Reception. When a patient expresses a preference as to which GP they have been assigned, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request. Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing another doctor in the practice, however we recommend seeing the same doctor for ongoing conditions.

Please note that if you request to be seen urgently you will be given an appointment with one of the duty doctors, who may not be your named GP
