In a genuine emergency you should call 999.

Dial 999 immediately for emergencies such as:

  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Severe loss of blood
  • Choking
  • Fitting/ convulsions
  • Drowning 
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Total collapse

Do not wait for a GP as you need urgent care in Hospital.

Do not hesitate to call us on our usual number 8.00am - 6.30pm if you need urgent attention (01425) 621188. You will usually be offered a consultation on that day in our ‘Urgent Care Clinic’ with our urgent care specialised nurse or the 'Urgent' doctor as appropriate.

Due to the nature of 'urgent' appointments you may not necessary see your usual GP.

Please note that urgent appointments should only be booked by patients who have to be seen on the day. If you can wait please book a 'Routine' appointment with your usual GP
