GP REGISTRARS

We are very pleased to have met the stringent criteria of the Wessex Region training schemes to enable us to train qualified Doctors for one year in the speciality of General Practice. This means that as well as the regular partners, there will be an additional Doctor working within the practice for one year, full-time. We currently have Dr Alison Cook and Dr Ashleigh Moore working with us.

As part of the training process, there will be occasions when we would wish to videotape consultations. This is purely for teaching purposes and the content of the tapes will be treated with the same strict confidentiality as your medical notes. Your written permission will be sought, both before and after the consultation, if the video is being used. We very much hope that you will be able to co-operate with us in helping our attached doctors develop their communication skills.

As in previous years, we will continue to have visiting medical students from Southampton University from time to time.
